CLASSICAL MYTHOLOGY
Our journey 2nd semester travels through ancient times when monsters roamed the earth, gods ruled from above, and humans sought to find meaning and truth and glory.
The study of Greek mythology explores elements of storytelling, psychology, etymology, and pop culture.
The text for the course is the classic anthology by Edith Hamilton entitled Mythology. Students are required to procure this book (buy it, borrow it, check it out from a library, or download it onto a digital device).
The course involves extensive reading inside and outside class. Packets with guiding questions comprise the daily work. Quizzes, projects, and tests complete the assessment package for each grading period.
